What is BIMI?

BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) shows your company logo next to your emails in supporting mailboxes. It requires a domain protected against spoofing with DMARC.

Which format does a BIMI logo need?

SVG Tiny Portable/Secure (SVG Tiny PS): square, no scripts, no embedded images or external references, with a title and at most 32 KB. A normal SVG from a graphics program almost never meets this.

Do you store my logo?

No. Your logo is only processed for the conversion and deleted immediately afterwards. The free preview returns a watermarked image only – the SVG file never leaves the server.

Why don't I get the SVG file right away?

The free preview shows whether your logo is suitable. You download the finished file in the portal: three logos per month on Basic, no fixed limit on Premium – there only downloads count, previews are free.

Why is my logo "not suitable"?

Usually the source image is too small, very detailed or in landscape format. Use a source of at least 500 pixels and select only the logo mark without lettering.

Do I need a mark certificate (VMC)?

Not for Yahoo, Fastmail and many others. Gmail and Apple Mail only show the logo with a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) or Common Mark Certificate (CMC).
